Bodegas Nodus welcomes in its vineyards the tractor of the future: Voltrac; the autonomous vehicle that guarantees maximum innovation in viticulture
Bodegas Nodus has witnessed one of the most surprising innovations in the agro-technological field: the demonstration of Voltrac; the first autonomous dual-use tractor developed in Spain.
With a futuristic design and an operational capacity that goes far beyond cultivation, Voltrac has been presented at the Nodus facilities to demonstrate what it is capable of: a 3.5 ton electric vehicle, capable of transporting up to 4 tons, reaching speeds of 40 km/h and operating for up to 20 hours thanks to its interchangeable batteries.
By day, this tractor works the field with pinpoint accuracy, analyzing the terrain in real time and optimizing the use of resources such as water, fertilizer and energy. At night, it can be reconverted into a logistics support robot for conflict zones, transporting supplies without putting lives at risk, all by remote control or autonomous driving.

At Bodegas Nodus we firmly believe in the importance of bringing innovation to the field and, without a doubt, Voltrac’s visit has reinforced an idea that we already had clear: the field is changing and, with it, the way we cultivate, manage and plan the viticulture of tomorrow.
Moreover, this type of technology not only improves efficiency, but also opens the door to a more sustainable and resilient agriculture. Are we facing a new era in the field? At Bodegas Nodus we are ready!
