Bodegas Nodus wins the Gold Bacchus with its Nodus Summun 2021

Bodegas Nodus has been recognized with a gold medal at the twenty-third edition of the International Wine Competition Bacchus 2025 thanks to its wine Nodus Summun Ecological 2021, a reference that stands out for its quality and its commitment to sustainability and oenological excellence.

The event, held in Madrid between March 31 and April 4, is one of the most prestigious in the sector, endorsed by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of Spain. More than 1,500 wines from different countries participated in this edition, evaluated in blind tastings by a jury made up of sommeliers, oenologists, specialized journalists and international wine figures such as Masters of Wine and Masters Sommelier.

Nodus Summun Ecológico 2021 is the result of a careful winemaking process that combines tradition and innovation. The power of Tempranillo, the roundness of Merlot and the character of Cabernet Sauvignon have been perfectly combined to give shape to an exceptional organic red wine, obtained from the best grapes of the most select vineyards of the property, subjected to a long maceration and aging for 14 months in French oak barrels, which provides complexity, structure and an elegant aromatic profile.

The exclusive character of this wine is also reflected in its minimal intervention in the winery: it has not been subjected to any stabilization process, so natural precipitations may appear after resting in the bottle, proof of its authenticity and respect for the raw material.

Undoubtedly, obtaining the Bacchus de Oro places Bodegas Nodus among the elite of the Spanish wine scene, reinforcing the value of its commitment to high-end organic wines. In addition, this recognition comes at a key moment for the sector, in which consumers increasingly value sustainability, origin and authenticity of the products they choose.
