At Bodegas Nodus, we try to do our part to leave behind a better planet for everyone. We embrace sustainable development as a philosophy that helps us maintain a balance among economic growth, care for the environment, and social well-being. To this end, we have implemented a series of practices that align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

Our farm utilises organic production methods, as do all our wines. Some of them are also vegan. We have also launched RainGin, the first organic gin on the market. In this way, we aim to ensure that our food production systems are sustainable and we implement resilient agricultural practices that increase productivity and production, contribute to the maintenance of ecosystems, strengthen the capacity to adapt to climate change, and progressively improve the quality of the land.

BIODIVERSITY

We have eight monumental holm oak trees on the farm, which are recognised by the Provincial Council of Valencia. We are also very close to the Hoces del Cabriel Natural Reserve, an area of great environmental value. Through our activity, we help manage the natural environment, ensuring the conservation, restoration, and sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems and preventing the destruction of natural habitats.

WATER CONSUMPTION

At the Finca El Renegado, we have a water treatment plant, which helps us reuse this resource and prevents contaminated waste from entering the environment.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

We have a program to reduce waste and reduce the environmental impact of our activities.

EQUALITY PLAN

At Bodegas Nodus, we have an Equal Opportunity Plan for women and men.

SOCIAL ENTITIES

From the wine tourism business line, we develop the idea of sustainable or environmental tourism while closely relating it to a respect for nature. Meanwhile, it also helps us to promote concepts such as well-being through sustainable culinary options and a clear relationship with sport. In fact, every year we organise the Carrera de las Ocho Encinas (the Eight Holm Oaks Race), which runs entirely through the El Renegado estate.
